About the Competition

In 2024 there will be a new initiative at the Annual International Conference of the EMBS, the Young Professional Paper Competition! The YP Committee organizes this novel activity that will be chaired by Prof. Dr. Péter Kovács of Eötvös Loránd University (Hungary) and Dr. Nicolai Spicher of University Medical Center Göttingen (Germany).

Biography:

Dr. Temiloluwa Prioleau works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Dartmouth College. Her research is in digital health, wearable technology, and data science, with a focus on developing human-centered computing solutions that enable personalized health. She founded and direct the Augmented Health Lab - a consortium of interdisciplinary researchers working together to tackle grand challenges in healthcare. She is also an affiliate of the Center for Technology and Behavioral Health (CTBH). She founded and lead Computer Science Summer Research (CSSR) @ Dartmouth to train and equip a more diverse pool of undergraduate students to pursue advanced degrees. Before joining Dartmouth, she was a Rice Academy Postdoctoral Fellow in the Scalable Health Labs. She obtained her M.S. & Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, from Georgia Institute of Technology, and her B.Sc. also in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
